Biography

Where were you when you designed your short: In the archive room at RipCurl.

Brief outline of what you do: I work at Rip Curl as their archivist/historian. I also organize exhibitions at the Surfworld Museum and am one of Surfing Australia's official historians.

What one website do you have to check every morning before you start work: Swellnet, as I do the Torquay/Bells report for them every morning.

Last time I was at the beach was: 5 minutes ago having a surf at Torquay before racing to work to finish this questionnaire. 

What kind of animal would you least like to be attacked by: A crocodile.

Boardshorts should be: Comfortable, stylish, good fit, both in and out of the water.

Back in my school days, I always liked to draw: On the covers of all my exercise and text books.

Best thing about summer is: Warm water, bikinis, Noosa, dawn patrols and eating out.

One way we can help out the planet is: Go to your local beach the day after a crowded hot day and pick up the disgusting rubbish people leave all over the beach...ban cigarettes from our beaches.

If I could create my work anywhere it would be: On a boat with surfing friends in the tropics.

Whats on your desktop right now: Hank Williams greatest hits.

Surfing is: One of the two best things you will ever do in your life.
