Where were you when you designed your short: At home
Brief outline of what you do, art/design wise: Mainly art direction for our three magazines (Artillery Magazine, Death Before Dishonour & Sleepless Knights) and design and art direction for cd packaging.
When I design, I listen to: So much music it's hard to really say...at the moment I've been giving The Gaslight Anthem, Brand New, Aesop Rock, Dead To Fall, Misery Signals, Band of Horses, The Knife & American Nightmare a flogging...
What one website do you have to check every morning before you start work: Lifelounge.com or www.thekingdomofsadmachines.com
Last time I was at the beach was: About an hour ago at Burleigh, cracking surf! 4-6ft offshore.
What kind of animal would you least like to be attacked by: Snakes, they scare the absolute shit out of me.
Boardshorts should be: Comfortable, non-rash-inducing ultimately.
Back in my school days, I always liked to draw: Those stupid fucking barrels, I think I put one on those shorts...also copying old illustrations from surf brands was pretty fun.
Best thing about summer is: Warm water.
One way we can help out the planet is: Stop eating meat. Seriously, the by-products of eating beef are insane, everyone should read up on it.
If I could create my work anywhere it would be: On a giant golf ball put into orbit around earth. Think about it, astronauts are cruising around all upside down and shit and then WHAM! Giant golf ball with nonsense all over it floats by...that would be some weird shit. Maybe it would induce some sort of crazy science-fiction-esque issues within the cabin, like "dude, did you just see a giant golf ball float past the window?" "no, you're crazy" stab stab stab etc.
Whats on your desktop right now: A huge mess with a picture of Ryan Hardy @ Off The Wall behind it all...
Surfing is: Incredible.
